Clay Carlile - Principal

As a lawyer, Clay worked on numerous public and private equity deals, asset-based lending transactions, and a wide variety of day-to-day legal matters for small and mid-sized businesses. As an investor, Clay has two decades of experience in real estate acquisition and management; start-ups, venture capital and private equity; post-bankruptcy transactions; and employment, tax and compliance matters in the U.S. and Mexico. For the past decade, Clay has focused on building Moonracer’s portfolio of income-producing assets. He has a B.A. from UCLA and a J.D. from USC.

Lance Carlile - Principal

Lance has diverse experience including operations, investment management, and company ownership. As an operator, board member and investor, Lance has worked with companies involved in manufacturing, sales, venture capital, private equity, and real estate. For over ten years, Lance has been a Managing Partner of Moonracer Investments, LP, with a focus on investments in real estate and other income-producing assets in Texas. Lance has a B.B.A. from Baylor University and an M.B.A. from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.
